About our Counsellors
Sonya Da Silva
She holds a Higher National Diploma in Person- centred Counselling and is a member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapy.
Sonya has many years experience working with children and young people. She is particularly skilled in working with Family/group therapy. Sonya uses a range of techniques within her sessions, adjusting to each individual client’s needs. She incorporates the use of Creative Arts and C.B.T (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy).
Sonya is at present attending Chichester University, studying her BA (Hons) in Humanistic Counselling.
Amanda Richardson
Amanda is at present attending Chichester University, studying her BA (Hons) in Humanistic Counselling. She holds a Higher National Diploma in Person-centred Counselling and is a member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapy (BACP).
Amanda has been a mediator for both neighbour and intergenerational clients for six years and counselling was a natural progression for her. For the last two years she has been working with clients with addiction and substance misuse issues. Previous to this she worked with a wide range of clients with a wide range of issues. She uses an integrative style in her sessions and adapts to each client’s needs drawing on a variety of theoretical and creative methods.
Louise Sherman
Louise holds a Higher National Diploma in Person-centred Counselling and is a member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapy.
Louise is a creative and dynamic person centred counsellor. She has specialised training in substance misuse, and primarily works in the field of alcohol abuse. Louise works integratively using approaches and techniques to suit the needs of the client. Approaches include C.B.T (cognitive behavioural therapy), motivational enhancement and brief solution focused.
She holds experience in working with young people and particular interests surround play and creative arts therapies.
Louise is at present attending Chichester University, studying her BA (Hons) in Humanistic Counselling.
